Tuition and Fees

The tuition and fee structure is determined and approved by the governing board of the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon organization. The non-refundable tuition follows:

  • Youth Symphony - $425
  • Youth Orchestra - $400

Payment by check may be made by mailing the check to the YSSO, P.O. Box 4291, Medford, OR 97501.

Although full tuition assistance may be available upon submission of a request and approval by the YSSO, musicians who receive full tuition assistance must pay a minimum of $25. Musicians who request partial tuition assistance pay the balance of the tuition.

A tuition discount is offered for siblings. See the tuition form for information.

Each eligible Concerto Competition participant pays a $25 non-refundable fee. This fee and other fees may not be included in the request for partial/full tuition assistance.

Required registration materials (including the optional Chamber Music Series and the optional Concerto Competition) will be posted online as we approach the start of the season. Musicians and families should read, complete, sign, and turn in forms. Click here to visit the "Registration" page.
